VinoLoire invites you to a taste of the Loire Valley. A few hours to immerse yourself in the wines of the Central Loire.
Discover the vineyards, caves and wine making practices through your guide, whilst you sample and array of delicious wines.
Your winetour program
- 9:00am: Pick up in Tours:
> Transport in a comfortable modern Mercedes minivan
- Visit a Family Estate in Vouvray
> Visit the vineyard and learn about the many aspects of vine to wine
> Visit of an ancient rock-hewn wine cave
> Tasting of different white wines typical from Vouvray (dry, half-dry, sparkling,…)
> Pairing with local cheeses
- Visit in Montlouis:
> Winery visit
> Tasting of Montlouis wines and some reds from the Loire Valley (Chinon, Bourgueil, Touraine Chenonceau,…)
> Pairing with local charcuteries (rillettes, rillons,…)
> Around 12:30pm: Drop off in Tours
This half day tour includes:
- Transport in a Mercedes minivan
- English speaking Driver/Guide along the tour
- Visit of 2 different wineries
- Large tastings of Sparkling / White and Red wines
- Discovery of delicious local foods
